Computer troubles (freezing)

Ok, so I recently put together a computer, the parts are as follows: Dual core intel processror, ASUS P5NSLI motherboard, ATI radeon 1900 all in wonder graphics card, 4 GB of ram, and just basic cd and dvd drive. Also has a sound blaste sound card. Iam running windows xp home edition.

Heres the problem. Sometimes when im watching TV or playing games, the computer will just freeze. I dont know why, and also the computer seems to be running slow. Also the TV seems sorta 'skippy'. I dont know really what to do, but the freezing is getting extremely annoying. If you have any other questions, I can answer any of them, and thanks in advance.

I would ask what's the spec on your PSU? And it's an ATI card

i think thats theres a probliem with ur rams ..

My PSU is 450 W and ya, its happening more frequenctly now, seems to be doing it when every i put it under stress
