computer tries to shutdown...

hi..

this is the problem...

I might doing anything on the computer and all of the sudden i would get this message:

Generic host process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close . and When I click on Don't Send...

I get a message telling me that the computer will shutdown in 1 minute..

When I get that message I go to MS-DOS and I type "shutdown -a" and the computer does not shutdown ...

But ..why am I getting this message ?

There is a new virus released called W32.Zotob.E and I am able to bet a good amount of money you are infected it spreads like wild fire and it causes your PC to shut down.

Yeah there is no doubt in my mind he has Zotob.

Glad i am so glad my PC crashed before that hit me. I had to redo my system yesterday and didnt have the net hooked up till i had all my virus and firewall apps in place. I updated my virus definations from my other ocmputer using a 1Gb memory stick. I get back and hear aobut this virus and think to myself wow glad i was crashed for a day.
