computer runnings slow after format.

hey i installed a sound card and found that my coputer was running slow after the install so i decided to format it to give it a fresh start and had the same problem. so i formated for the 2nd time within 24 hours with the same results i dont know if the sound card could really have a big effect on the preformance of the computer because apps take around 4 seconds to respond after clicking them or if this is a bigger issue.

if your system dont like the sound card drivers it will. id reformat and not install the SC, wait a day or so and then install them and if its slow again, its the drivers then

ya ive heard that the audigy2 drivers that came with my card where bad ill have to try that if it gets really bad which its beginning to drive me crazy.
