Hi there,

Have a new PC that has worked fine since I built it. No major problems at all.

One thing that has kept on happening though, is my computer restarts. This isn't when playing a game or anything when the computer is under load. For some reason, if I go away, lock my pc/leave it idle and come back after x amount of time, my pc has restarted.

Event viewer isn't showing any errors. Can see some things with source LoadPerf, Search, Esent and Security Centre in event viewer before the time I restarted but they are just information things. No errors.

Any ideas?

edit: By the way, temps are good.

Are you sure it is restarting and not just coming out of Hibernation?

how do i know if it's coming out of hibernation?

all programs are closed. Just like restarting really.

for example, i had a game up before and by the time i got back and logged on again it was closed. Infact all my progress was lost. Same for all progs.

If it is coming out of hibernation, it would say "resuming windows" when you turn your computer back on. however, if all programs are closed when you turn your computer back on, then it is not coming out of hibernation. (windows should look exactly like it did prior to entering hibernation)
