Codec Problems

i downloaded some movies, and now i cant watch it. The error im getting it "error downloading coded." how do i fix this? i've checked on the Microsoft website, but couldn't find much. any input would be appreciated. thanks

Try downloading the K-Lite codec pack,It has just about every codec you will ever need,Or you can try a differen't player altogether,Try the VLC player from www.videolan.org It will play just about every type of file there is

Either that or the Divx Player has almost all of the Codecs needed to do such a thing.
