What is cmd.exe. When I log on to my computer there is a message that it is missing. Is this a major problem???

cmd.exe is the Command Prompt.

Can you attach a screenshot of what the computer is saying (when the error comes up, press "print screen" on the keyboard, and paste the image into Paint. Then attach it into the message.

sorry i havent responed in a while but my computer is getting worse. Now it starts over about three or more times before I can even log on. After that it tells me that it just recovered from a serious system error. About three error reports come up. I'll try to attatch a sceenshot.
