Default Clueless.... please help create videos!

So here's the deal... my family went on vacation and i have about 600 pictures that i'd like to make into a really cool movie/slideshow with music. I have the music editing software (i'm using adobe audition) but i have no clue what i need to look for in terms of a video software. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just let me move pictures.
