I was wondering how hard it would be to change the os of a cp from linux to windows. If this is at all possible to do at all.

Well first you would loose all your files because you would have to reformat your hdd. It wouldn't be that hard though. What windows os were you looking to install?

For windows 2000 or xp? Either way you would just po that cd in there and have it reformat your hdd using ntfs file system. If you still have the hdd utility from your harddrive manufacturer, use that and reformat it ntfs instead of using the setup disc. Also to boot from a cd you have to change the first boot device in your bios to your cd rom drive so it reads the disc before it boots up.

One thing is to back up all your files and for sp2 on xp I would wait intill it is alittle bit more stable before installing
