Hey how is it going everybody. I have a problem I am working on a computer that has a non dos partition. I would like to change it to a fat32 partition. I tried to run pq magic 8.0 but it could not change it without formating the drive. Is there a way to change it to fat32 without loosing the data on the drive.

What file system is the non-dos partition using? Is it Linux based (Ext2, Ext3, XFS, etc) or is it Windows based NTFS?

The computer is using windows 98 SE. The computer is a gateway. I don't even know what they were thinking in putting the computer in a non dos partition.

So the entire drive is setup as a non-dos partition? If this is the case you will have to copy the data to another drive and then reformat the drive to a FAT32 file system.
