Default Changing file type extensionS

Any way to change the file type of a group of files from mod to mpg? My digital camcorder records mod files which are mpeg2 equivalents. I can rename one file at a time. Any group renaming trick?

Can't u just select all and rename??

On second thought, don't do that it'll change all of the filenames also.
With all due respect John, I am the head of IT and I have it on good authority. If you type "Google" into Google, you can break the Internet. So please, no one try it, even for a joke.........It's not a laughing matter. You can break the Internet.

Problem solved. I tried DOS command: Ren *.mod *.mpg
And it worked. The reason I had not tried this obvious step first was that I went and read the online help of Microsoft. It says the wild card "*" won't work for this. Come Onnnnnnnn...
