Default Changing drive name in ME

Hello

Long story why i am doing this, but...

Does anyone know how to change the drive letter name in windows ME

I want to change a drive name from -

Local Drive (D: ) to Local Drive (F: )

Any help would be much appreciated

I see you already got your answer but I still must clarify that it isn't changing the drive name, its changing the drive letter.

killians45 Thanks for the input, but I tried those solutions over & over again and neither work !!

What i have found is this Free tool here that will let you rename the drive letter names for Windows 95, 98 and ME.

hmm... should of worked. did you make sure to rename correctly. For example, u want the D as C and C as D. You have to rename the C as Z, then the D as C and then the Z as D (dont know why exactly, because it wont go into effect until after a reboot, but I had to do this myself on XP.)
