Changine the XP's Desktop Storage folder

hi, i was wondering if there was a way to change where the desktop ist stored in XP. it is currently linked to C:\Documents and Settings\matt\Desktop but i want to change it to my other hard drive. i have also already changed where my 'My Documents' Is stored.

Windows will look in that place first as its the default location. You could try changing the target to D:\????? but i dont know if that will work. Try it right click on my docs and change location. If not you could try changing MS Word etc to look and save somewhere diff then my docs. Any one else for Idea's?

i have already sorted the my docs by changing the target but i need to find how to change the desktop target
