Hi all I think I just did something really stupid...
I was trying to setup network sharing with my work laptop and I was testing it out at home but I changed the domain to a workgroup and now when I turn on the laptop I can't login to windows. It gives me an error "The system could not log you on. Make sure your User name and domain are correct, then type the password again."
Please don't tell me the only way to revert back to the old domain so I can log in is to have my company's help tech do this. I'm new to this job and don't want to look like a complete moron...so please if someone can help me with this I'd be very thankful!!
When I initially made the changes to sign into a workgroup I didn't enter any username and password for logging on. I was thinking I just needed to change this to get network sharing working because other than this I thought I had everything set up correctly and it still wasn't working.
Thanks for any help in advance!
