Default Change SID

I am looking for a program to change an operating systems SID. The only thing i found on the web was New-SID and it crashes the system. Is there anything else out there that i can try? Thanks in advance for your help

There's said tool built into the Windows XP setup cd.. although it totally strips the machine SID..
