Certain sites close for me on internet. Why is this?

Hey guys,

I have a problem. On some pages that I try to view on the internet, as soon as I type in the URL, 1 second later, that web page closes. Also when I tried to update my firmware, the same thing occurs when I try to flash. I click on it, it pops up for 1 second then closes. WHy is this?

web browser problems can be one of the BIGGEST pains. I'd do youself a favor, get Firefox... it RULES. It's also MUCH faster. Try it, wont screw up your IE, I use it now and nothing else.
