im trying to copy a ps2 game's RAW files onto my harddrive so i may copy them. is there any program or way i can get past the cd write protection?

Hi TurkeyMaster77 welcome to Tech Forums.

I normally use CloneCD to backup my games and it does get past the cd write protection fine.

Good Luck

I CAN BURN WITH THAT PROGRAM BUT I CANT BURN EVERYTHING IS THERE ANYWHERE WHERE I CAN DOWNLOAD PROGRAMS WHERE I CAN BURN CDS CUZ I CANT BURN THE SIMS OR ANYTHING.ONLY OLD GAMES WORK

Try getting the newest version of CloneCD, along with ClonyXXL... it detects many forms of copy protection, and will allow you to burn most new games...

BTW - Stop yelling...

this is the easiest way possible to me.

google for DVD Decrypter (best program ever!!)
oh its not in production or anything anymore.. the newest one is 3.4 or something like that.

3 easy steps to copy and burn.
----------------------------
***to copy
01) Open up DVD Decrypter
02) MODE, ISO, READ R
03) select "Destination" <---- make it your C: drive or Hard Drive
04) Decrypt (now sit back and relax til it's completed)

****to burn
01) MODE, ISO, WRITE R
02) select your "Destination" <---- make it your dvd writer with good blank media
03) click on Write, that's it.... easy as smoking.

ohhhh... n if ur burning ps2.. its DVD-R that works. not DVD+R

GameJack is pretty good. i don't know if it's around anymore or if it's free. search around for it
