does anyone knows free cd imaging software? i would like to copy a disc. Thanks

Are you just trying to copy it or just extract the contents?

Have you looked under or for "Free CD Copy Programs"?

if this is a one time thing, just download a trial version of Ahead NERO or Easy CD/DVD creator

i mean, to make the image of whole disk so that in case of events, i can use the other cd to install software, that i copied from the original ojne.

Does nero do that?

You are talking about software like Ghost or DriveImage right?

Mike posted a few links recently.. can't find them at the moment when I do I'll post it here.

Nero can do it .... Just choose Image recorder instead of ur physical burner.

U could alternatively use Alchohol 120% or Virtual drive

Yep, u can use Nero to create an image.
To view the contents of the image, u will have to install imagedrive that comes along with Nero ,present in Nero55\Nero\Misc for Nero 5.5.
