Can't use credit card to make online transactions

Hi,

Everytime I try to purchase something off the internet, after clicking the submit button or what have you, the screen goes blank, says done at the bottom, and has the word 'error' in the address bar. This happens whenever I try. Can anyone help me with this?

I'm using windows XP, IE, and I don't have Norton. My security is on medium.

check for spyware and viruses.

Try:
Ad-Aware and Spybot for spyware protection.
AVG and Avast for virus protection.

Don't think it's virus related or anything. I extensively cleaned my computer recently. It doesn't seem to matter how many scans for virus's I do, still won't work.

what internet browser are you using?

try using firefox or opera.

it's a browser issue. use a different browser (firefox). sometimes i get that error too and I just reinstall IE and life is good.
