Cant seem to download Adobe Flash Player on Windows 7

Hi There,
I have tried to download Adobe flash player from Adobe.com on my OS-Windows 7 yesterday many times, but failed.
I deactivated all my anti virus and other programs as per required for the download but still to no avail.
Apparently, i need this to watch youtube videos.
Am desperate, please help.

Then there is something installed that is preventing you from doing this. I am typing from Windows 7 which has Flash Player installed and you state my exact actions.

Hi Joe,
Thank you for your speedy response, i managed to solve my problem.
I just went IE--->Manage Add Ons---> Enable Shockwave

and i can watch all the videos now!!
