Can't save files I edit in "Program Files"?

When I edit game files and such in there (with Notepad), it won't let me save. It comes up with this: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c99/fruitsbasketluva/Error.jpg

I have Vista and I'm the administrator. I know I used to be able to save them in XP...I've done it plenty of times. But since I got Vista I haven't been able to save a single one.

Anyone know why this is happening and a solution for it?

When you go to edit the file right click on it and select the common Run as Admin.

Vista does not give people the Admin account by default this is locked. You get a power user account with admin rights. This is not a widely know fact but it is true.
