Default Can't run program in Win XP

I have recently upgraded tp Win XP. A program I used under my old operating system (Me) will not run in XP. I have tried reloading it, tried the compatibility wizard and I still can't get it to run.... any suggestions?

Some programs do not run in XP ...even if they are running in 9x versions...but still you must specify the name..

did you check it against the Microsoft database in the help forums? Maybe there's some trick you have to use. For example, some Win2k drivers just won't work because they check the OS name, and if it isn't Microsoft Windows 2000, it won't install.
