Can't run program after installing

Look, i have just installed this software
"Mavis Beacon teaches Typing Version 12, Broderbund"

After completing the installation successfully,
i tried to run the program but it requires me to insert the installation CD inorder to run the program.

Why can't i run it without the CD..its a pain in the backside..

Help me if you have run this program already.

Most pieces of software/games give you the option of installing the software on differnt levels. Usually there is some kind of "COMPLETE" installation option that you can select and this would allow the software to be used w/o the CD. However some items you can not get around inserting the CD.

A piece of software that tricks the PC to thinking the CD is in the drive by making a virtual disk is "Virtual Drive" and I love it.

Where or how can i go about with this "Virtual Drive" concept ?

dunno if u have nero but it has imagedrive which allows u to mount images(iso's etc) on a virtual cd rom drive. so u would get software to create a virtual drive on ur pc. then make an image of the disc that is required, mount the image with the virtual drive and presto ur pc thinks u have inserted that disc into a cd drive.

it sounds like Win2kpatcher mentioned another one that mite work called virtual drive altho im unfamilar with this prog.
