Can't run msoobe.exe...

I want to change the serial key for my XP Pro. I have done it earlier on other computers with no problem. But this time it just won't work. I have tried a couple of programs (e.g. XPProCorpKeyChanger.exe). I get through the first part where a list of serial keys are generated, but when mssobe will start nothing happens. I have also tried to manually deactivate windows in the registry (that works) But when I try to start msoobe.exe (with the switch /a) nothing happens at all. It just won't launch. (Yes - I'm logged in as administrator). Does anyone have any suggestions what the problem is? I hafe reinstalled xp three times with the same result.
