can't re-install XP-Pro Os

i have a major problem..

can't re-install XP-professional OS on my machine.

Before that i was running XP-professional on the same machine..believe it or not.

I decided to clean it up, repartition the hard disk and then install XP-Professional
again.
But during setup it says "setup cannot continue..xp needs to run in 64mb of Ram"

I'm stoned..

Pls help!

XP needs AT LEAST 128 MB of Ram to run bare minimum. 256 to run happily.
