can't listen to music with winmedia anymore

It doesn't work after I inadvertently deleted all CSID's LibTypes (?) in registry a few days ago,
my computer works fine, as far as I have checked (currently finished checking only winmedia), I have got an error when I call windmedia "An internal application error has occurred".
I don't want to reformat, i am looking for a way to refill what was deleted, any ideas please...

without using restore, how canthings be fixed ?

uninstall and reinstall it...

That should take care of it right there. Just download the lateset (ver10 I think) from the Microsoft website and install.
