Hello,

I Just bought a copy of Windows 7 64 bits and when I run the setup, I get an error saying
that I cannot install Windows 7 on this version of Vista. I have read that it is because I'm on
a 32 bit OS.

Thus my question: How can I do a clean install? Any way to format C: on Vista? Will 7 run at startup if I can format my drives?

Thanks

Start your PC, stick the Win 7 dvd into the drive, go into the bios and set your dvd drive as the 1st boot device. Save and exit the bios. When the setup gets to the drive selection format the drive. You will lose all of the data on the drive, make a backup of any files you want to keep before you start the Win 7 setup procedure.
