Can't install printer from print server- No Driver

Hi,
I have just installed a network printer on our server running windows server 2003. When I look at the additional drivers under properties it shows that it has the windows 2k3 and windows XP driver for x86 processors. When I go try to install the printer (the shared printer from the server) on a client computer, it tells me "The server for [my printer] does not have the correct driver". Anyone know why it would do this?

how are you going about installing it on the server?

Through the add printer wizard as a local printer. I ended up just sharing the driver folder. Then when I installed it on the clients I could go and select the driver manually. I'd still like to know why it's not available from the server automatically though.

right click the printer on the first machine and select share
