Cant find/delete file

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right forum but I couldn't find one that seemed to fit my problem. Anyway, everytime I run a Mcafee virus scan it always gets stuck on an old file from a mod I had for a game a while ago (both the game and the mod have been removed). The virus scanner will just stay stuck on this one file until i manually hit skip the file. This has gotten to be rather annoying, I have already done a regular search via the start menu and it comes up with nothing. Is there anyway I can find this file and delete it once and for all?

Do you have my computer set up to show hidden files and folders?

Yeah, I have the search area set to everywhere on my computer and show hidden files checked.

Have you enabled Show Hidden Files & Folders and disabled Hide Protected OS files in the Folder options dialog? Have you tried to manually search for it rather than using the built-in search function?

I've done both and I can't find it at all.

Doesnt McAfee give you the location of the file? It should give you the path. Such as C:\program files and so on.
