Default Can't create rocovery disks.

Hello, I have a Compaq Presario notebook I just got. Windows XP media center edition. I tried to create recovery disks with the recovery disk creator application. I followed all the on screen prompts. Told it I would use 3 DVD+R's. They are TDK 4.7 GB disks. It will write to the first disk all the way to 100 %, but then says it can't complete because an error occurred. I tried several times and the same thing happens. This computer does have a DVD RW drive. Do I have the wrong kind of disks or what? Thanks.
