Default Can't BOOT from Windows XP Pro

lo all,
My system: Toshiba Tecra A2 1.7 Centrino, 512MB RAM, 40GB HD, Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-R2512 (no floppy drive)

Im trying to install Fedora Linux on my comp however when i insert the 1st CD into the drive and reboot it doesnt boot.
The Toshiba loads up as follows:
1) Toshiba logo screen
2) Windows XP loading screen
3) Windows desktop

I dont know what to do, ive tried to boot from the win xp cd and a boot cd i made using an ISO file but no luck!

is it possible to boot in CMD ms-dos in windows?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Send a message via MSN to office politics

at the toshiba logo screen, it should display which key to press to enter setup; common keys are F2 or delete. Once you enter setup you have to change your boot order to try to boot from cdrom first.
