Could there be a problem with the HD itself? If I ghosted the data onto another HD, could that fix the problem?

I just restarted the computer and the HD was making a sound that went like this:

click, click... click, click... click, click... click, click

???

I'm tring the ghost the HD but it's saying this:

NTFS Logfile has not been flushed.
Restart NT and try again.


LOL... any ideas?

I'm doing a fresh install of XP again... If the same poroblem occurs then it HAS to be somethingn wrong with the motherboard... Hopefully I'm right...
