Default Cannot open task manager

This is a very weird thing that is happening.

When I press ctrl + alt + del, I cannot seem to click on my task manager. It's greyed out, meaning I can't access it.

Why does this happen?

By the way, I recently edited my registry but I don't want to switch back to my backup because I made a LOT of changes, and what if that is not the problem.

If it was because I edited something in the registry, please tell me how to fix it.

Either way, please tell me how to fix this problem =D>

Thanks!

I am rebooting. By the way Norton just said it was a bad script but I enabled it anyway. Thanks for quick responses
