Cannot delete folder Help!! Not sure if right forum :/

ok i had an MP3 file in a folder called Metallica i then removed that MP3 file and now i get an error when i try to delete the Folder Metallica

the error goes as follows - Cannot Delete File: Cannot read from the source file or the disk.

i get this when i try to move it rename. And also when i go into properties of the folder, i cant change the properties it goes back to what it was..

Im thinking is this file really here or is it messed up??

oh and im not the greatest with computers so if you reply try not to make it to complicated

Try doing it in safe mode-keep hitting f8 while booting

refresh the folder you're in
sometimes you delete a folder but Windows for some reason thinks it's still there, then when it tries to access the part of the disk which it used to be on it will not find it, and hence get the error message

hmm i went into safe mode and logged into administrator but it didnt work :/

and refreshing didnt work either
