I have a 2 character password in windows 10
and I changed it before from another 2 character password but this time it will not let me change the password

I can log in with the password but when I go change it says incorrect password in user settings

its a dot and a number
so I can log in easily. mostly to keep people away from "improving" my computer with the online games and changing settings without telling me... then me spending 3 hours trying to figure out why its bugging out.

iwas able to change it twice before but for some reason I cant now.

I change it every few months

Why not just make a normal password?

Did you attempt the above suggestions given?

Umm, mate Windows 8 and 10 both have PIN login systems where you type a 4 digit number to login. On a keyboard with the full number pad, it takes me about 0.5 - 1s to type them all out. Having a password that weak is a massive security risk, and is just ASKING someone that gets physical access to your system to hack it.

because I already have to remember about 50 login name/password combinations...
I don't want to forget what NEW AND IMPROVED secure password I just came up with for my main desktop
and nobody gets physical acess to my PC. I'm the physical firewall for all my electronics...
everyone already knows not to touch my **** lol

I'm a retard lol

I kept typing it in backwards

good news is problem solved

awkward
