Post Cannot access folder (Complex!!!)

I've had problems recently with the user accounts on my pc. I was restricted to guest accounts, even though they were originally admin accounts. I managed to create new accounts, but now, my former account does not appear in user accounts,
-I can't log into it (even via. Ctrl+Alt+Del+Del, it won't accept the correct password!),
-I can't access vital work documents from the old user account in the new one (Access Denied).

I have logged into safe mode as administrator, but it won't let me change priveleges. In fact, its like the user account is gone, when no one would dare do a thing to it!

have u tried taking ownership of the folders under the admin acct?

With all due respect John, I am the head of IT and I have it on good authority. If you type "Google" into Google, you can break the Internet. So please, no one try it, even for a joke.........It's not a laughing matter. You can break the Internet.

Is this XP? Sounds like either you may have some malware or someone is screwing with you. If that's the case, read here, second post on the page.
Windows Password Reset Disks/Tools etc.

Make sure you don't go into the repair console. That won't help you at this point.
Change the world. Of one person. Today.

If your equation requires either a complex combination of variables to get the desired result OR you can't seem to get the result regardless of the ain't your variables, it's your constant.
