Default can someone test my ftp?

can someone test myf tp, just uplaod a small file, a gif or jpg wallpaper or something

i dunno whats wrong =/
im new to this ftp stuff heh

i receive Socket error = #10061. if you are running this FTP server from a computer using your internet connection than likely your ISP is blocking FTP, ask them if this is so.

why are you giving us your admin login? you should be giving us a limited access login assuming you are running this server. what is the server software you are using?

otherwise open ports on firewall and router. i forget if it is port 21 or 20 and i i think you need to open for both UDP and TCP. where's mikesgrookin? also, this may help:

i couldn't get in; I was using smartftp and it told me the server actively refused connection. i did put in the correct username + pass

use bulletproof ftp, its good

also open the port 21 on ur router,
and get a web address assocailted with ur ip
try no-ip.org,

its only access in a empty folder,
but meh i gotta tinker with it.

if my isp doesnt allow it, that sucks !

it's both 20 and 21. one used for authentication and one used for data transfer. open both!
