Can i record a live stream?

Camtasia is a great program, I use for recording reviews. Its a bit of a heavy hitter though as more than just screen record as you have edit facilities etc. (Techsmith are a great company and happy to offer review copy and even a give away copy for competitions).

Personally if recording game footage Fraps is certainly better and much cheaper to buy. Fraps doesn't have the footprint of camtasia too so won't have possible effects on game play.

Actually, MSI Afterburner will do it. It has built-in video and still capture. And it is free.
