Angry browser crashing

When ever I view certain sites on either firefox and internet explorer, my browser crashes. It's only on a limtied amount of sites though, for example www.myleague.com/civ4players/. Every one else can access these sites with ease except for me. Any one have an idea on why it's doing this or way to fix it?

mine lags for a second at school, but loads up fine after.

maybe you are too far away from the website's server.
