Default Bootup options

Whenever I start the computer, the boot sequence comes to a screen which says "Please select the operating system you would like to boot up with." (I have a removable hard drive and it also has an operating system on it, but I never want to boot from it.)
I want to always select the first option, "Boot using Windows XP." This option always automatically self-selects, but only after a time delay. I would like the bootup to just pass that option screen and always boot up with Windows XP, with no time delay.
Does anyone know how to make this happen?
