Default Booting up to 98 interface

Sometimes when I boot up my computer it loads the Windows 98 style interface rather than the XP one. If I then restart the computer it reverts back to XP. It's really annoying when that happens. Anyone know why this happens?

I think you should uninstall window XP. That OS has a lot of "serious" problems.

That's probably not the answer he was looking for.

I've had this happen too before. It doesn't effect system proformance so I just shrugged it off.

You should try to use freeware "Restart". It's very useful when you use many OS

no this is another annoying XP problem. i know exactly what you are talking about. i've had this happen a few times. my fix was to restore a ghosted image. for you i would just reinstall winXP, but if thats too much of a bother you can just bear with it.
