Boot Screen

Hi there,

I have recently been having problems when trying to boot up my machine. What happens is that it hangs on the boot screen. The only way to get it to work is to use the recent settings option. What could be the problem?

I would really appreciate if someone could help me out on this issue. If you need any more information please lemme know. Thanks!

Have you ran a Virus Scan? Do you think you may Have sypware? Have you tryed Safe Mode? And have you tried System Restore

What is the last piece of software, hardware, etc you intalled?

Have you disabled software other than AV, Firewall.

Scanned for Spyware, Viruses?

The last piece of software i installed was AVG anti-virus and i have ran both a virus scan and a spyware scan.

I've tried both safe mode and system restore and they both work.
