hi,

i´ve got a big problem with a silent installation of a toshiba bluetooth driver. the windows one doesn´t work so we tried the toshiba one.
well, the silent installation works quite well but it will just complete if you long on as admin (norma users don´t have the right to install this driver, so we tried to get around this by using the silent mode) locks on.

does anyone know what to do? (except call toshiba and get them to send a new driver :D )

are you trying to deploy this? What are you using to deploy if so. There are ways to get users around the Admin rights needed, but it's a long process and takes too much time to explain. Something you can try is called CPAU. it's available on joeware.net. Very nice tool, just be sure to read the documentation...

Once you figure that out, if you have a way to complie a .exe and embed files, add the cpau program and scripts then you have a launcher that you can use to bypass the rights, using runas. It's very slick.

Good luck
