bluetooth chip could not find

i have a laptop dell latitude d620 and the bluetooth is not working. when i install the bluetooth drivers it is throwing an error as "bluetooth chip could not find". what was the wrong exactly?

Are you sure the laptop is capable of blue tooth?

How far away is the bluetooth chip in relation to the laptop? They only have a rating of something like 16'. Also, I do believe they are line-of-sight, meaning nothing can be in the way.

yes Mak, i have downloaded all the bluetooth drivers from Dell official site and tried to install but its not getting installed. It is throwing an error saying that "bluetooth chip could not find". i frustrated a lot. why my bluetooth is not working. how can i get rid of this issue.

Is this happening with all devices or just the one? I know that my blackberry doesnt like talking with some other devices.

The only sure fire way to fix this is to contact Dell. Only they can tell you what is going on. They built the PC.
