After you replaced the Mobo and CPU did you reinstall Windows? If you didnt that will be where your problem is. You have different drivers than you have hardware.
 
thats where im having a problem i keep trying to load a cd to install a new OS but it keeps crashing

Was this a i5 or i7 system? You needed to increase the CPU VTT voltage or it may be called the QPI/DRAM Voltage. It's actually a fairly common issue with system that have 12GB of memory or systems running High-Speed Modules. I wish I had noticed this thread sooner, sorry.
 
neither acutally i replaced my MB and CPU to an AMD Athlon II and a Biostar TA790GX 128M i do however have 6gb of RAM
 
Figured it out my CPU and motherboard are not compatible newblet mistake....or im wrong on this to


so confused on this comp should i just start a new topic all together on how to set up a HD for the first time?
