blank dialog & message boxes?

I'm running XP Pro just got my cpu back after the HD died. My Norton was replaced with McAffee Security center and don't like it at all.

I also lost my Roxio Go Back program. All my message and dialog boxes are showing a blank window except for the text in title bar.

So, now I can't install any programs!!!

Help

Also now when I click the icon to open OutLook, Word or Excel I received an error stating something about what I'm trying to do is not installed and it tries to install Office XP??

windows is definately broken, re-install.
