he might be meaning chipset drivers, if yours is the Compaq Presario 5000US, then here are the drivers:

Although they may not be up to date I would imagine that they would also have been included on the recovery CD...However it might just be better to download all the needed drivers right from hp's website. Plus an added bonus is that you'd be up to date as far as drivers go.
