I was not wrong as DVDShrink does saves files in other than just .iso formats. You can choose the .iso format as well. I just choose not to save them as .iso's cause Alcohol120% and other applicaitons are much better at this.
My bad. I misunderstood you. You are right! I'd rather use decryptor since it is a lot faster. I also meant that shrink, decryptor and ripIt4me are thee programs to use backing up a movie. I didn't imply to use all three to do the same thing.
Anyway, shrink saves as video ts, vob and iso.

these 3 programs can decrypt every dvd. the first 2 can't handle the 2 latest encryptions method.
