Default Best Audio/Video Player?

I know there is a lot out there, and I've tried a bunch of 'em. I can't seem to find one I really like. Which do you guys use, and which are you favorites?

for video player, the best one is definitely VLC media player. it's not visually impressive, but it can open literally every file; no stupid codec problems with VLC.

and for audio winamp, of course.

yes, winamp is great, and its better than itunes, if you have an IPOD.

windows media player is like internet explorer, either you like it or hate it.

Winamp is the best music player.

I actually like Windows Meida for playing movies and such. Codecs are readily available and I have found all of the ones I've ever needed. It's just very simple and works fine.
