Default The Best Antivirus?

I was wondering, which is the best antivirus and/or firewall? price is no factor, I'm just wondering which gives the most protection. Thanks

If you want a good free Antivirus then get Avast! home edition, it is even better than the payed ones

You can download it from here
http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

And please look here to see the Awards that Avast have won

I use Avast! and Filseclab personal firewall. They have worked great for the past year!

The best antivirus is the one you use. Many are online without one.

I use Computer Associates (CA) Anti-Virus, and have for three years now. It has saved my bacon many times over.

I like it because it pops up when you hit a page with a virus on it, not when it scans. It does very deep scanning, but it is slow when scanning.

If you're interested, here's a link for a free year trial:

you're almost right there Trotter but personally i'd rather be online "naked" than with Norton
