hi, i just got a new compaq presario, so i decided to get a game. battlefield 1942 had some good stuff written about it, so i bought it. now when i try to install it, when it prompts for the second disc, it does not do anything after i put it in. It is something with my computer because i was able to install it on my dinosaur of a gateway, 191 ram and no vid. card, so to speak. here are the specs of my computer as given by the ea help, which is not working either.

I have been tried to install the game many numerous times, and have gotten different results each time, but all cummulating in the game not installing. It either stops at some percentile, i.e. 92 or 99, but recently it has not been recognizing the second cd. the prompt to insert disc 2 appears, so i replace disc 1 with 2, in the drive, but then it will not recognize it. it does nothing, and i have a feeling that if it did something it would simply stop mid installation. help is very appreciated, because i do not want to have to return this game and get a new copy, or my money back. thank you in advance.
